Story & Atmosphere
Welcome to Tre Rivali, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Milwaukee at 200 N Broadway. This vibrant eatery captivates not only with its inviting atmosphere but also with a meticulously crafted menu that promises to delight the senses.
At Tre Rivali, the emphasis is on quality and flavor, evident in dishes like the highly praised grilled branzino. As one satisfied diner, Ali Abedi, attests, this dish is expertly cooked to maintain moisture and provide a flaky texture, making it a standout choice on the menu. If red meat is more your style, the hanger steak is a must-try, best enjoyed at medium to savor its robust flavors. These culinary delights are no surprise in a venue where the chef prioritizes quality ingredients and cooking techniques.
The brunch offerings at Tre Rivali have also garnered accolades, with customers raving about the breakfast pizza, complemented by attentive service. As noted by Larisa Lichtenberg, the portions are generous, ensuring a fulfilling dining experience whether you are starting the day or enjoying a leisurely lunch. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it easy to engage in conversations with loved ones without competing against overpowering music.
While some patrons pointed out slower service during their visits, the overall experience remains positive, thanks to the welcoming staff and the charming outdoor seating options. The meticulous attention to dietary needs has also been appreciated by many, showcasing Tre Rivali's commitment to customer satisfaction. It's clear that each meal is crafted with care, creating a memorable dining experience for groups of all sizes, as highlighted by Kenneth Cote-Dorantes during a large family gathering.
Overall, Tre Rivali stands out not just for its menu but also for its ability to create an inviting space for food lovers. Whether you're indulging in flavorful dishes like the chickpea soup or the delightful sides offered, every visit promises a unique experience that is bound to keep you returning for more.
“ The grilled branzino fish is one of my favorites. I had it in many places, but Tre Rivali easily makes it to the top. The fish was fully cooked, yet moist and flaky, and the flavors were subtle and not too overpowering. We also tried the hanger steak, which I highly recommend it to get it medium not well done. This is a very flavorful cut and if there is one place in MKE who can do it right is tre rivali. ”
“ Did breakfast here one day. The service was definitely slow, and I wasn't given salt/pepper that other tables were given. Even though it wasn't busy it seemed to take a really long time to get water, place an order, etc. Food was decent, but nothing I'll remember for very long. The outdoor seating is very nice, but I wish the music from the speakers wasn't as loud as it was. It's part of the Kimpton Hotel. ”
“ Food-was good. A bit overpriced though. Portion sizes were small compared to price. Service-was pretty slow considering that it wasn't very crowded. Still kinda crowded though. Atmosphere-was about how you would expect in a restaurant like this. ”
“ Went to Tre Rivali with my entire family and everyone loved it. I got the hanger steak, which was delightful. Perfectly cooked! Our waiter was extremely attentive and helped my family make sure we could get everything we wanted considering our allergies. Ambiance is great, we really liked the vibe in general. But the FOOD! Everyone's entrees were great, and the 3 sides for $27 was really awesome. We tried the salad, the patatas bravas, and the broccolini and everything was packed with flavor. We were so happy with our experience and are looking forward to coming back. ”
“ My first time coming to Tre Rivali. I will say it was an overall good experience. The chickpea soup, Brussel sprouts, and salad were really good. I thought the broccolini didn’t have any seasoning. I think it would have been better with some kind of sauce on the side. The service was great our waitress checked in often. And the overall ambiance was great really easy to talk to someone without other conversations over powering. I will say give TR a try and definitely get the soup! ”
